Frederick Bangerter

Frederick was born in Switzerland.  Upon coming to Utah Frederick found that the language barrier made things difficult.  In 1891 Frederick  had a dream about a home that he should find and raise his beautiful family in. Soon a Real Estate agent showed him the Granger Property that was in his dream. He was overjoyed and soon went to work to make this a beautiful home to raise his family.

Frederick was a hard worker. He was a blacksmith by trade but soon opened a local coffee mill business. With hardwork, Frederick and his family soon grew this small mill into a large Flour Mill and it was one of Granger’s first businesses . It was called Bangerter Flour Mill and located on 3600 west and 3650 South
