Officer Earnest Pearce

1950

Officer Earnest Pearce moved his large family from his hometown of Beaver Utah to Granger.

He asked for the transfer so he could offer his 10 children " better advantages to his older children who are entering college".

His children were outstanding and were an asset to our area.

He was a kind and fair officer. He was active in the community and in Little League.

We were so fortunate to have him as an officer in our area.

He was kind, fair, courageous, friendly and very involved in the community. We called him Ern.

I think  Ed Wilson summed it up best by saying, "He was the kind of officer we all wish were around today".

Pearce Drive was named after the Pearce Family.

His Nephew Dick Pearce was also an officer for 30 years.
