Layne Bangerter
Layne is the son of
Grant & Geraldine Bangerter.
Layne was born while his parents, Grant & Geraldine were serving as LDS Mission Presidents in Sao Paulo, Brazil
The whole Family moved back to Granger in 1965 and then moved to Alpine Utah in 1970.
Lane has always been interested in the environment. He is a Farmer and a Rancher and an outspoken ally for the rural land.
January 2017 he was sworn in as the R Deputy Associate Administrator at Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). He leading the team to Reform the EPA
Layne and his wife, Betsy, have been married for 34 years; they have eight children and 10 grandchildren. He is the owner of a Farm, Ranch, and a Land Company in Melba, Idaho.
His life focus has always been to serve his church and country.
Layne's sister Julie Bangerter Beck was the LDS General Relief Society President 2007-2012
Layne's Uncle was Utah's thirteenth governor, Norman H Bangerter 1985 to 1993.
Layne's father, Grant Bangerter, was a LDS General Authority
