Niles and his Service Station
Niles Mackay was born and raised in Granger. He was always a hard worker and very active in the community as well. After graduating from Granite he herded Sheep in Wyoming for his grandfather. It was an excellent way to make money. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed his parent's large property. The bonus was that his Grandfather's ranch was near the Massa Ranch. This is where he met Emma. Soon he and Emma married and they raised a wonderful family together.
Niles enjoyed working with his hands and became a trusted mechanic. He owned and operated the American Oil on the corner of Redwood and 3500 South.
Niles comes from several generations of Granger residents. His parents: John E & Abigail Tanner Mackay and Niles Grandparents: John C & Catherine Mackay.
The home Nile's grew up in was at 3985 Redwood Rd
