Nicholas & Despoula

The  Paraskevopoulos Family. Nicholas & Despoula were both born in Greece and immigrated in about 1900.

They moved into a home at 3565 South Redwood Road.  Nicholas died in 1941. After the War the boys came back and started a Family Grocery Store and 3 years later one son (John) opened a furniture story. The market evolved into three separate family businesses that still continue today.  Redwood Market Place, John Paras Furniture & Chris&Dick's.

These precious pictures  & information has taken me over 10 years to collect. I have spent countless hours in the archives, historical offices, state repositories, county files, city files etc to find them for our collection. Please donate and help this collection grow. -Sheri
