Did you call him Roscoe or Tom? Either way, he was a talented soloist and actor. He performed all over and many assumed he would someday be seen on the "Big Screen".
Tom Mackay was involved in scouting. He was on a mission and so his picture is in the lower left side. This is Elizabeth Bawdens sitting on the bottom surrounded by her sons, grandchildren. They represent 143 years of Boy Scouting.
Roscoe "Tom" had a beautiful Tenor Voice and was always willing to sing.

They raised Thelma at 2177 West 4700 South
Roscoe's Grandfather William Mackay was very important in settling this area, getting water and creating a wonderful opportunities for the community
Roscoe's Great Grandfather , Thomas Mackay crossed over the Jordan River January 1849 and built a mud Dugout for shelter from the winter at approx 3300 South 1400 West. Later he settled just a bit south in Taylorsville.
