Pete's Frostop was located at 4124 S Redwood Road

...and the "Pete's"  is short for Petersen!

Big Thank You to Eric Peterson for supplying the pictures and history.  Eric is Joey, Thirza's son

The wonderful Petersen family owned Pete's Frostop. Here is a picture of Joey, Thirza and the Children

Joey was born in Oakley Utah and Thirza in Idaho. We sure are glad they decided to make Granger their home. The Petersen family was loved by all. Thirza was such a beauty and Joey was always so funny. They worked hard running the Frostop and loved their customers.  You would always see Joey and Thirza at the Frostop but if you looked closely you would see Brian , Mark , Jeff and Eric Petersen all working  at the Frostop.

In 1973 the Petersen family closed Pete's Frostop and re-opend the location to another Petersen Family Business called The Concord House.  The Concord House was home to some delicious foods.  In 1977 Joey got an offer he couldn’t refuse, and so the Concord house and the property was sold.

I understand that the Frostop cured the Petersen Boys of wanting to own their own Restaurant. It must be hard work to make all that delicious food for us. But I am sure glad they did.
