Pauline Bangerter Jensen

 She was known far and wide as “Home Run Polly”.

Pauline was a member of the local 7-up Queen Bees Baseball Team. She was a great player and always hit Home-Runs. 

The Murray Eagle Oct 1944 said “Miss Pauline Bangerter, as usual, hit a home run. She can always be counted on for a good hit." 

A few weeks later the  paper said “As usual, Pauline hit a Homer”.

“Home Run Polly” excelled in just about everything she did. She had a large part in the local play “Handcart Trails in  1939. In 1940 she was cast in Nathan & Ruth Hales  Granger Little Theatre play “It Shall Keep Thee”.  

Polly loved to travel and was loved by all. Polly was born and raised in Granger. Her parents William & Isabelle had 11 children. Polly married  William Jensen and had 9 children. She passed away in 2016 at the age of 95.
