Willard Bullock

Willard was known by most as a hardworking man. He worked in the Auto Industry for many years, at the Smelter and as a local farmer.

He was married to the beautiful Emily Bullock

They had 3 wonderful children

In October 1918 Willard was infected with the Spanish Flu. He passed away leaving Emily to raise the 3 children, the youngest being 2 yrs old.

Luckily Willard and had acquired Life Insurance and that helped Emily raise the family after Willards untimely death . Having a Life Insurance Policy wasn’t very common in our area.

The Spanish Flu killed many local residents, it is noted that it may of killed 1/2 of a million worldwide 1918-1920.
