The Hunter Baseball Team

Hunter had a very good community baseball team in the 1930's-1940s, and for a while had an all Rushton team — consisting of brothers and cousins of the prominent Hunter family in Utah. This photo of the team at Hunter Park includes their coach Albert Rushton (upper left), Chris Rushton, Laurence Rushton (in the center), Lewis Rushton (far right with mitt), and Sylvester “Sly” Rushton (bottom right), Jay Davis bottom row left with mitt on hand  among other family members.
