Did you know that Shag Rug La had 3 Granger locations. Shag-Rug-La has been in business since the summer of 68'. Started by Dewey and Arlene Whitehead and their five children, Shag-Rug-La specialized in floor and window coverings.
The family began by selling out of there garage and In 1968 they first opened, moving into the old Bob's Polar King building at 3528 W 3500 So
Then they built a larger location at 3730 W 3500 S.
In 2014 they moved to Midvale and their building was torn down to make room for the widening of the Bangerter Highway intersection at 3500 so.

The family then moved the business to South Jordan and it closed shortly after Dewey Whitehead passed away.
