The Hunsaker Market began as a neighborood store. You could buy just about anything there. From penny candy to groceries to shoes and clothing. It later changed to a Meat market and meat processing plant. many remember buying the best jerky available for 10cents a stick. You can order any cut of meat and it is a favorite to order Easter lamb chops or a Thanksgiving Turkey. 

Many residents still take there deer and other game there to get cut and bagged. If you look closely in the rear of the building you will see several game hanging up being ready to be cut up.
