Maxine

One of the most familiar people at the Granger High Swimming Pool was Maxine Hobbs. She ran the front desk and the office. Besides being the friendly face of Granger Swim Pool she was a former county Assessor, very involved in the community. She served at the Redwood Community Council, Redwood Elementary PTA President, the Sagebrush club and was extremely visible in our community. Her son and grandchildren lived in Granger. During the summers my family used our "Lifetime Membership" to the pool to the fullest. I never knew she passed away in 1979', I looked for Maxine from 80 until I graduated in 83 and went off to college. I didn't know our extremely involved Maxine Hobbs passed away at the age of 63 Aug of 1979.    She was a big part of our lives in Granger Utah!   Three Cheers for Maxine!
