Katie...Oh Katie!

Do you want to get inspired by a those that came before us?  There was a Granger/ Hunter girl that was born in Italy 1891. Her name was  Katie Fassio Knaus's parents started to Fassio Egg Farm in Hunter. She worked very hard to help her parents in the family business. After she married, she opened her own ranch. She named it the Tomato Ridge Farm & Poultry Ranch in Magna. Her hubby died in 1931 leaving her with a house full of children. She was an extremely hardworking woman and she loved America. Four of her sons served in the war and one daughter in defense plant. This left her with one young son to help her run the Ranch. Read this article
