One of the fanciest restaurants in Granger was the Oaken Bucket. Nightly you would enjoy a live piano music as you ate delicious foods. The service was always wonderful and Karen Barton always had a smile and a hug for you.

I miss the Clam Chowder, if I close my eyes I can almost taste it. This is the place you would take your company or to celebrate a birthday, School dances, dates, job promotion or an anniversary.

If you didn't get a chance to go to the Oaken Bucket, just imagine entering a really beautiful building. You are greeted by a familiar face welcoming you by name. Then you look at the menu and see this place has best food around. Then you see a familiar face (a neighbor) playing the piano.

The food was delicious and the service divine.

The Barton family was always so dedicated to the Granger area. They spent countless hours volunteering and serving the community.

They ran friendly businesses!  Granger was great because of the Barton's!
