Dr. Dan English

Walter "Dan" English came from a long line of residents. His grandparents lived in the Bingham area and his parents in the Salt Lake area. He attended Granite High School, and continued on to the University of Utah with a Ford scholarship. He then went on to attend dental school at Northwestern School of Dentistry

Dan was always an outstanding part of our community. He was a favorite dentist, building a medical office at 3521 Market Street

He lived near 2800 Market Street and so he was always a big part of the community. Both those that worked for him and his patients were treated like family

He was a Pioneer in the area and he worked until shortly before his death in the fall of 2014

It was especially hard to see his offices demolished to make room for a large business office. His beautiful brickwork and the clean lines of his office was a welcome sight to those traveling on Market Street for 60 years. 

Equally, it was hard when I got the news that Dr Englished died November 2014

He was an excellent Dentist and an excellent part of the community.
