Elva Rupp Rushton
Born in 1920, Elva Rupp is described as a "Sports Enthusiast" She was born in Taylorsville where she " worked their father's farm, thinned sugar beets, and swam in the canal each summer."
She spent the majority of her free time on the pitching mound.
The moment Alma Rushton saw her play and said:
"That is the girl I am going to marry."
She married Alma Laurence Rushton and the two raised their family in Hunter Utah. She loved to watched Laurence play on the Hunter Rushton baseball team.
She bowled in three leagues for many years, and had a career high score of 276.
