Trees were extremely hard to grow at that time due to lack of water. He had an ingenious plan of using cans and planting the trees in them to keep the water where it needed to be to help the trees grow.

Soon he had many fruit trees. Daily he would make a trip to the Jordan River to retrieve water for his trees.  He tapped small holes in the cans so the trees would have drainage.

His Motto:  “I am NO speaker….I am a Do-er”.
