LeRoy Petersen

"Roy" was born to Niels Pedersen and Sarah Grant. His father was born in Denmark and his mother in England.

Roy married the beautiful Fern Hill. She was the daughter of Alexander & Betsy Bawden Hill

They built the beautiful home at 4796 W 4100  W on the corner of 48th and 41st

Roy and Fern always had one of the neatest, tidiest homes around. Everything was organized , swept, mowed and stacked.

The trees were beautiful, the fields were beautiful, the roses and flowers were beautiful.

Somewhere along the line, the family stopped spelling their last name Pedersen.

Roy Petersen enjoyed Farming his land. He was one of the hardest working people around.

He was very involved in the Farm Bureau and was a Kearns Airbase Firemen. 

He was always a wonderful part of the community.
