Krazy Klara's (In the Old Heaps Brick Oven Building)

Clarine Edwards did it again. She was the owner of the Heaps Brick Oven in the late 1970's- the early 1980's. She decided that she needed to change the name to Krazy Klara's Restaurant. Her menu expanded but the same great service that she gave to her customers was a constant.

She still used the wonderful Hearth Brick Oven to make the best Pizza's and mouthwatering Lasagna's around. She made sure that each and every plate that went out of the kitchen door was perfect. She was their day and night and you could often find her on the back table near the kitchen doing the restaurant's accounting.

Clarine had to sell the business because at the young age of 50 she developed emphysema which debilitated her. It was so frustrating for her to slow down after selling the business in 1982. Clarine passed away in 1990
