In 2010 she and her husband found out that they had a special talent, a talent to make people believe and have childlike excitement.

The family business, Kathy’s Kopies (and mailing) soon became Santa’s Workshop 365 days a year. The business, adored with red and green decorations andstockings always hung was a sight to see. The best part was that Kathy and Ron (aka Santa and Mrs Claus) always dressed the part.

Serving others, bringing the magic of the season not just in December, but all year long was important. They decided that bringing the year-round excitement of Christmas not only to their town in Virginia, but sharing Christmas year round to the whole state of Virginia was just what was needed.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Clause!

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. -- Make no mistake. Even during the dog days of July, the man in red rarely takes a break. Old St. Nick doesn't spend his summers chilling in the North Pole. His refuge is more Midlothian Turnpike than Santa's Lane. "I'm Santa Claus of course," said Ron Despain.

Kathy Brinkerhoff Despain (Mrs Claus) passed away October 9th, 2018. She will be missed by thousands.
