Brock's Produce Stand

From 1968-2012 the Brock's Produce Stands were a common site. The produce was always picked that morning and delicious. There were hundreds of acres of precious land that grew their wonderful vegetable. The business closed the fall of 2012.

I looked forward to  my Brock's Postcard that came each Spring telling me what day the Shelled Peas would go on sale. I have no idea how the Brock family shelled all these delicious peas, but they were a delicious tradition in my family.

Corn on the Cob and Tomatoes from Brock's stand were always on our dinner table.

I cried the day that I found out that the Brock's Produce Stands were closing permanently.

I admire the Brock Family for their 45 year dedication to share their bounties with the area. I am so glad that they woke up at sun-up to plant, weed and pick delicious produce.

Here is a wonderful article with pictures, about the Fred & Glen Brock family.  https://www.ksl.com/?sid=22050254&nid=148&title=staple-in-west-valley-produce-business-calling-it-quits&s_cid=queue-6
