Honoring the 3 killed in WWII and the 125 that served

In 1946 A plaque honoring 3 Granger men killed during World War II was displayed at the Granger Chapel

Those locals killed in the War were:

Sergeant Newell Hugo Smith

RT2/c Jack William Roper

2nd LT  Charles Winder

The plaque was sponsored by William D Hill and Albert Hogan

A Welcome Home party for the 125 service men and women of Granger was held Thurday at the Granger 1st LDS Ward 3200 W 3500 S.
