"Rueb"

John Rueben Park (“Rueb”) married Julia Woodruff. Soon they  moved to a large farm  on _____Redwood Road.  He was known as a quiet, yet stern man that never stopped working. He made sure his family and even neighbors worked hard. He often said “Idle hands are the Devils workshop”.

He had a large farm with lots of wheat, hay, vegetables. He also raised animals, he had 150 sheep at his Redwood Road  farm and 4,000 sheep in Idaho. He spent months at a time in Idaho tending his sheep.

The Park Farm was always beautiful and abundant. The animals were always well fed, the rows of crops well watered. John  “Rueb” always gave 110 % to his home and possessions.
