Oliver & Pheobea Pedersen

The Oliver & Pheobea Pedersen home was built about 1926 at 2430 Redwood Rd.

Oliver was born in Denmark and came to America when he was a young boy. Pheobea was born and raised in Salt Lake. Her parents were Sarah & Herbert Gedge from 2000 Redwood Rd.  Pheobea died in 1948 leaving Oliver with 10 children.

Oliver never remarried and was a wonderful father. He spent a lot of time with his children, was kind, quiet yet strong. He was a hard worker and a good neighbor.  He was known to say " It will all come out in the wash, it will all come out in the wash". Encouraging his children to not hold a grudge, not hold anger and or resentment.

Here is a picture of their home at 2430 Redwood Rd.   The note with the card says they had 1 car and several out buildings. You can see the Pedersens in the picture.
