Dean Todd

Do you remember Dean skating at the S&M Rink? He ran the business for over 40 years. It is often said that Dean spent more time skating than he did walking.

Dean's parents Stanley and Myrl (S&M) started the skate rink but Dean kept it going.

Dean was always skating around the rink, reminding us to skate safely and to slow down. He was a familiar face as you checked in and ordered your skates. He helped to make our experience at the skate rink memorable.

Dean was very involved in the community and adored his family.  His son,  Brent Todd is a famous artist.  Dean often helped him with his art business. 

He enjoyed everything this area offered. He loved to hunt, fish and always supported community events.

Dean passed away at age 74 in 2005.
