30 cents at Shamrock  The little Shamrock station on the South East corner of 36th and 31st was a favorite. The Westin Family always ran fine filling stations. Paul and Dan ran it for years. Cars were not energy efficient and spending 30 cents a gallon to fill up your tank seemed like a great thing to do with your newspaper route money.

This building housed U-haul Truck Rental and now the Newton family run Victors Tires is always buzzing with customers.
