The History of Granger Medical
In 1954, Dr. Lavere Poulsen and Dr. Glenn Wilson noticed something amiss in their then-burgeoning city of Granger, Utah—although the population continued to grow in the area west of the Jordan River, the city and its surrounding communities lacked the necessary medical infrastructure to support its growth.
Drs. Poulsen and Wilson seized the opportunity to create a one-stop-shop practice that was equipped to treat all types of ailments in one convenient location. Call it one part common sense and one part marketing genius, but they found a toehold in the local market and, in the intervening years, Granger Medical Clinic grew to become one of the largest independent clinics in the Salt Lake Valley.
Soon there was a need to expand. A new complex was built just west at 3280 W 3500 South.
