Drag Granger...not State Street!

May 2,1965 the Bonneville Drag Strip opened at 3355 west 2100 south.

There were 2 other Drag sites at that time Copper Raceway 5000 W 7800 so and Salt Lake Raceway 2100 S 4900 W.

We had a lot of great racers from Granger/Hunter. Keith Lynch, 2 time National Super Stock Champion and Paul & Sonny Schoenfield Top Fuel drivers.

On the circle track we had Jimmy Wysong class of 78 was Sprint Car champion many times and he is also a member of the Bonneville Salt Flats 300 MPH Club. 

 James Eaton class of 77 was a great super stock driver.
