Bob Hayward
Bob was our neighbor, friend and a true Hero.
In July 1975, Ted Bundy had been all over the Granger/Hunter area. He was asking girls if they wanted a ride from church, he was at the old Pizza Hut and Woody's Milk Depot flirting with the workers. Now remember Ted had already killed at least 25 girls and hadn't been arrested.
Now here is where "Our HERO" Bob Hayward comes into the picture. In the wee hours of July 1975, Bob sees the strange car in our neighborhood; he ended up arresting Ted Bundy. He got double finger prints taken because he knew something was wrong with Ted..... There was no apparent laws broken that night, but he felt Ted had a secret to hide. The next day police from all over the country tied those fingerprints to many murders.
If "Our Hero" Bob Hayward had NOT sensed something was wrong. If Bob Hayward had NOT know the neighborhood & community and who didn't belong. If Bob Hayward was too tired after his midnight shift to carefully watch out for the community....so many more girls would have been killed by Ted Bundy.
